Seeing agent opportunities

Agentic AI is poised to shake up the world. Yet most agentic AI projects fail. There's a growing graveyard filled with agents built recently that nobody ever wanted and nobody uses. Where do agents succeed and why have so many failed? This course will help you build an intuition for the types of opportunities where agents are likely to win adoption. You likely have some of this intuition already, but the course will explore realms and share mental models that you may not have considered.

You'll learn to:

~ Decompose workflows, including ones whose steps are often collapsed in knowledge workers' thought processes

~ Predict how well agents can execute different types of knowledge tasks

~ Evaluate and calibrate the impact of agents on workflows, on workers, on organizations, and sectors

~ Understand points of resistance to agents

~ Factor in multiple forces at play to build a spider sense of whether an agentic AI solution will succeed.

Intuition isn't a substitute for experimentation—but it will help you zero in on better ideas faster.
